Situated right in the centre of Mindelo, by the main square, conveniently
placed for access to the cultural centre of the Cape Verde Islands.
It is run by the Oasis Atlantico group, a Lisbon based hotel and
resort group with 4 hotels in the Cape Verde Islands. 15 minutes

Rooms
50 rooms. Each room (twin) has satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning,
mini bar, safe, and bathroom with bath. Most rooms have a view of
the swimming pool or of Mindelo's main square. Superior rooms available
with living room and bedroom.
Dining
Perola do Atlantico Restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Lobby
bar (morning and lunchtime), Syrius Esplanade (evening), Disco (Wed-Sun
night).
Comments
For those wishing to visit the many bars, cafes and restaurants
in Mindelo centre, this is very convenient. There are artists, musicians
and many cultural activities in Mindelo, with its large natural
harbour. The hotel is quite near the Centro Nautico, where visiting
sailors celebrate landfall.
Guest comments
Nice service, a proper hotel, a little old fasioned in the main
central area. It's right by the square. Lots of good music around.
I liked Sao Vicente, it's well worth visiting the island. A from
Windsor.
Small bedroom, bath without bathplug, but one came when we rang
reception. Convenient for walking to the harbour, which is one of
the best natural harbours in the Cape Verdes, and near to the square.
Breakfast was a bit of a zoo, with a party of Danes about to go
off on a trip, and there were no normal tea bags, only jazzy ones.
In the evening, there was Cape Verde music in the being played in the bar
on the ground floor, and lots of people there enjoying it. Good for access to the town of Mindelo and the harbour. C from
